Controlling a turtle's speed with a slider
You can adjust the speed of a moving turtle by using a slider. If you have a project open, close it by selecting a new project from the File Menu.
Creating a Slider

Select the slider button The slider's dialog box opens. Change the name to speed. Click the OK button and it will appear on the screen.

Now hatch another turtle. |

Right click on this turtle and give it the instruction Fd speed wait 1 and select many times
Now click on the turtle to get it to move and change the slider to increase and decrease its speed. |

and
click on the page.
Save this project as Inter1 and have your teacher check your work. You are now ready to give instructions to more than one turtle.
